Projects
stArt projects are always tailor-made exactly to meet local needs and are developed in close collaboration with the local project partners. Still most stArt projects can be assigned to one of stArt's three main fields of activity:
- Community development: Together with all stakeholders in a community stArt looks for common aims regarding the desired community development process. With large group methods – such as World Café, Open Space or Future Search Conferences – meaningsful projects are identified and designed. Following the principle "We help you to help yourself" stArt coaches the concrete design and implementation of the projects, often over a period of several years. This also includes support in writing funding proposals.
- Leadership development: On an indivi-dual level stArt fosters leadership trainings for visionary people from the government, NGOs and politics, with a focus on young Change Makers.
- Organization development: For NGOs stArt is currently conceptualizing a Capacity Building Programme to strengthen leadership competencies and organizational design.
